What is SLiM?
SLiM is software created to manage access to the projects created for the Metatrader trade system. The complex consists of two parts.
Serial number generator. It is designed to manage projects, licence types, users, as well as to generate serial numbers and its verification.
Second part is SLiM API. MQL4-language library is meant for immediate integration into a protected project.
Problem and Solution
You have created excellent Expert Advisor or Custom Indicator and want to sell it, or just give for usage, but with limited functionality, usage time or user account. All this can be done even by an unskilled programmer who would create several simple algorithms within the project code. Often, values of all the limiting conditions are also contained within, so that the customer would not be able to change them. Accordingly, every time when a customer buys your project the code has to be changed, then re-compiled and only then sent to the receiver. Such approach implies a lot of manual labour, it is inconvenient and may result in mistakes.
A question appears – how to automate all these processes? How to accelerate the process of creating a license and delivering it to the customer? How to make customer’s access to a product fast and convenient?
AirBionicFX SLiM is simple and comfortable solution for license management issue. You distribute a SLiM product that was once modified according to the system. Further re-compilation of the project is not required. Then, the customer receives a serial number and applies it to the project. It also has to be done only once, later on the project will get the information from a license file created based on the serial number.
You only have to specify a product and one of the license types to create a serial number. All other information is additional and not mandatory.
You can deliver serial number to a customer via the built-in e-mailing system that is based on an editable template.
